Fill-in’s
It is each player’s responsibility to find their own fill-ins, this should be done via the pennant website. Messages will be sent to available players of a similar grading and then you will receive a notification when someone aspects. If you do not get a positive reply you must let Tony know.
Fill-ins should not be of a higher grade (except when approved by the programs coordinator)
Teams
Players are in teams of 4 lines. Players should play in their allocated lines unless approved by the programs coordinator.
Time and Format
Pennants commence at 6 pm. Players play one singles and one doubles set first to 8 games (7 point tiebreaker at 7 games all) Scores should be entered on the website by midnight.
Forfeits
No shows or failure to complete any match will result in your matches being forfeited. Please note repeated no shows may result in exclusion from the pennant.
Finals
Week 1: All teams will play the first week of finals (unless there is an odd number of teams) Teams will be split into divisions. Top four teams will contest the A pool finals, next four will contest the B Pool finals etc. Week 2: Grand finals Winning teams from week 1 contest grand finals in their respective pools. In the result of a tied final (including semis) the team who finished higher on the ladder will be awarded the victory.
Holidays
There will be no pennant played on public holidays. Some rosters may break during the school holidays.
Inclement Weather
If the pennant is cancelled due to bad weather you will receive an email. Points are shared in the event of a washout (including unfinished rain-affected matches)
